These artists made pub signs for people too drunk to read

I’ll level with you here.

I really can’t remember half the names of the pubs I’ve visited while I’ve been out on crawls.

It’s a lot to take in when you’re half-looking for a place to piss and half-scrambling for that last few pennies to drown into a cheap and nasty shot.

I know you’ve been there too.

In the past, pubs used to hang objects such as boots or kettles so people could tell where they were without having to read.

Now these artists have found another solution.

Commissioned to create works for the Double Vision exhibition being held at the Lauriston pub on Victoria Park Road, their task was to combine simple images and concepts to create brilliant and recognisable compositions.

Here is what they came up with:-
