When you threaten rape in a rap battle, you’re heading for some serious abuse – enter Nihal

Question: Dodgy English aside, does saying the above to a female opponent in a rap battle make it acceptable?

Generally the rule of thumb in a rap battle is anything goes, but threatening rape? That’s really lowering the tone by some magnitude.

As you can probably guess, this happened in The Jump Off rap battle in London, and the crowd were none too pleased.

One of those disapproving observers just so happened to be judge and Radio 1 host Nihal Arthanayake, and rather than disqualify the offender, he took matters into his own hands…
